Electronics Handbook 2.1

The Electronics Handbook application is a collaborative effort between Keysight Technologies and the University of Leeds, aimed at enhancing the existing 'Engineering Calculator' app for students and faculty in the disciplines of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.

Key features of the Electronics Handbook App include:

1. Resistor Band Converter: This tool allows users to construct a resistor by selecting the appropriate colored bands, subsequently displaying the resistor's value. It also reverses this process by providing the color bands based on a specified resistance value.
2. Ceramic Capacitor Calculator: A straightforward tool for converting capacitance values into the ceramic capacitor numbering system.
3. Logic Gate Tutor: An invaluable resource for those engaged in building logic circuits. It offers rapid access to truth tables, datasheets, and pin diagrams for commonly used logic integrated circuits (ICs).
4. Realtime Logic Simulator: Users can construct and simulate their logic circuits virtually before physical implementation. This simulator features an integrated oscilloscope to display how signal variations occur over time.
5. ADC Sampling Simulation: This tool provides insights into how analog signals are transformed into digital formats, allowing users to visualize the impact of sampling rates and ADC resolution on amplitude modulation signals.
6. Back To Basics: Designed for those who are either new to electronics or require a refresher, this feature assists users in calculating Ohm's Law, understanding parallel and series resistances, constructing transistor amplifiers, decoding electronics terminology, and more.
7. Potential Divider Calculator: This tool facilitates the rapid design of voltage or potential divider circuits, simulating load effects and calculating resistance values necessary for LED protection.
8. Amplifier Circuit Designer: Users can swiftly design operational amplifier (Op-Amp) circuits with built-in templates for inverting, non-inverting, and differential amplifiers. Simply input design parameters, and the tool will handle the calculations.
9. Keysight RSS Feed: Stay informed with the latest updates from Keysight Technologies through an integrated RSS feed feature.
10. Keysight Website Browser: A built-in web browser that enables users to explore Keysight's website directly from the application; note that internet connectivity is required.
